• If you're going to be using it outdoors then I'd wait for the PSP3000 as the glare on the slim and lite makes gaming in direct sunlight tricky. In terms of good games I'd recommend:
   
   Action - God of War - demo available on the PSP online store. Great fun
   Racing - Wipeout Pulse/Wipeout Pure or Burnout Dominator
   RPG - Final Fantasy Crisis Core (epic game and cracking value, can be had for £12.99 at HMV)
   Platformer - Ratchet and Clank Size Matters or Daxter, both great fun
   FPS - Medal of Honour Heroes 2, one of the few FPS games with decent controls on the PSP
   Stealth Shooter - Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Not a patch on the PS3s MGS4 but also great fun.
   Old-skool - Metal Slug Anthology, a great collection of 80s arcade shooters

   Once you have it installed, load up the DVD and start the program, if it isnt set to 'IFO Mode' then select that from the Mode list, after a few seconds you will see runs times displayed in the box on the right, it automatically selects the files with the biggest runtime so should select the movie.
   Now select 'Tools' and then 'Settings', then select the 'IFO Mode' tab, you will see the words 'File Splitting' and a drop down box, set that to 'None' and this will make sure that the extracted file is a single file and not several.
   Once all this is done go back to the original screen, select the destination you want to save the file too and set it going, once finished you will have a single .vob file ready to be loaded into 3GP or PSP Video 9.
