Seraphic Dark's List: Avengers Fanfiction

"Five years ago, Thor's Chitauri army decimated the Earth. Now what's left of humanity lives in bases under the Earth's surface, safe from the toxic atmosphere. Tony likes to think that humanity's adapted pretty well. After all, they have movie nights and dances; they're doing better than could be expected. But when he learns that the little world of safety and stability they've carved out is about to be slowly but surely destroyed, the New York Underground is left with only two options--fight or flight. Tony knows which one he wants. If only Steve weren't on the exact opposite side. Meanwhile, Natasha wants whatever option will save Clint, Pepper wants whatever option will save the base, Maria Hill wants whatever option will save everybody, and nobody's exactly sure who Loki's trying to save, but everyone's hoping it's more than just himself."

"Let us assume that Thor, being big with golden hair and blue eyes is the Asgard ideal man.

Now let us assume that Loki is not. He's got the height but not the muscle, his hair is black and what's with the green eyes? Green? Seriously, yuk!

Anyway, due to everyone on Asgard thinking Loki is actually quite hideous he has never managed to talk anyone into going to bed with him, either as a one night stand or a serious relationship. He tried hard in the beginning but the constant polite declines (and private ridicule that he listened in on) were too embarrasing and hurtful and eventually he just stopped trying.

Even when he finally gave in and went to the whores every last one of them always 'suggested' that he'd enjoy it a lot more if he took them/was taken from behind. So even though he's had sex he had to pay through the nose and no one's ever looked at him during.

Okay, so Loki's got the worst self esteem in history and is convinced he's the ugliest thing ever to walk Asgard. Now he's on Earth and fighting the Avengers.

After yet another attempt to fight them goes badly Loki goes out and gets very drunk at a random bar. He's in the alleyway trying to pee when he hears a voice behind him say:

"Hey Gorgeous, how many drinks I gotta buy you to get up in that sexy ass."

Most of Loki is naturally horrified/disgusted/repulsed but there is one thought that overides everything:

"You think I'm gorgeous?"

So very drunk Loki goes home with very drunk JimBob and winds up in a relationship with him.

Fast forward to the events of the movie, only this time Laufrey sees Loki get grabbed and turn blue. He realises what has happened and grabs Loki off the battlefield to claim him before Thor figures out what is going on."

Loki lets go. This is what happens after.

It started with a message, a late-night visit, and a God of Mischief in Tony's bed. A story of trust, trickery, unwilling aid and inevitable attraction.

The Chitauri twisted Loki's magic and forced him to become pregnant, but the fetus was killed during the New York battle. As Loki's plans are dashed one after the other, he keeps struggling to come up with a way to escape what's coming.

Or: gratuitous Loki whump.

Charles is raped by an oc or character of anon's choice but nobody really believes him after all the rapist is a really nice guy and Charles is more than a little bit slutty.
Charles is devastated that not even his sister and his best friend/crush Erik seem to believe him, that every one is talking about him behind his back and seem supportive of his rapist. 
A few weeks later Charles vanishes. Worried she and Erik report Charles missing but the police don't seem to be that worried, Charles is an adult after all.
Years later while watching some sort of news story Erik and Raven spot Charles in the company of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. After a few false starts they track him down to Tony's house were they promptly arrested by security (or the Avengers) and are taken to Tony who knows exactly who they are a tares them a new one for the way they treated Charles when he really needed them.
After much pleading Tony agrees to talk to Charles to see if he'll agree to see them and when Charles finally agrees to see them they are shocked to see how different he is from the outgoing flirty, happy go lucky Charles they used to know.

"Three months after Operation Avengers all is well. Or is it? When Steve and Tony hack into SHIELD to find missing weapons shipments they find more than they bargained for in the form of a prisoner who should, by rights, have been sent to Asgard long ago."

After two years, he escapes and lands on the doorstep of the Avengers. Together, they must defeat Thanos and his armies, save the earth, and help Loki become whole again. No Loki romance. None of this was supposed to happen. SHIELD wasn't supposed to find Thor and Loki on Earth three years after the battle. Loki wasn't supposed to be a silent shadow of who he once was. And the Avengers...weren't ever meant to have to endure the madness that would follow. "Cry, Loki. Cry."
