- Variation: can use all 100% whole wheat flour--no white flour--and they still rose and tasted wonderfully.
- Tips: combine half the flour and half the water/yeast first. Then add more water and more flour a bit at a time until the minimum amount of flour is used up and all the water is gone. This will prevent having to use all of the flour and will give you lighter rolls or loaves.
