    A very informative website for teachers. This site is very up to date and interactive for the classroom teacher. This site looks into great depth about how technology can be integrated across all curriculum areas. There are blog posts where teachers can discuss issues. Some latest blog posts include: Can electronic Reading Devices replace Classroom Texts? and Ways to work as a smarter teacher. There are many videos that discuss technolgy education and special reports that look at multiple intelligences and the collaboartion generation. A very useful site for any teacher. Star Rating 5/5

    This site would need to be teacher monitored, however it has many interesting articles that would be useful for students to read as it has aa lot to do with the world they live in as well as many technological updates. This website would be a good morning activity as the teacher could choose a student each day to select an artiicle that they found interesting to share with the class. Star Rating 3/5

    Undoubtly a site that eductors couldn't go with out as it is for students and teachers. This site can obviiusly be used across a number of curriculum areas. In particular to technology education students will be able to use this website in a Space unit to research information. It also has a number of videos and images that students can view.     This design and technolgy site provides many learning experiences for studets. It is very easy to read and navigate around. Once again it looks at a number of design technology subject areas and would be great to use within a unit of work. The Design Cycle on this site is EXTREMELY helpful for students, it goes into great depth and will give students many ideas about the process and what they need to do. The site is also very visually appealing for students and also each concept covered has many great graphics that go into a lot of depth. Star Rating : 5/5

    This site goes into great depth about a number of real life design technologies that work in everyday life. Areas include the design process, computer control, gear systems, elecctronics, product design, forces and moments, structures, technolgya and the environment. This site would be great to use in unit planning. Teachers and students can both use the website. There are also many work sheets and links throughout the site. Star Rating 4/5

    This site would be fantastic for an integrated studies unit for Social Science and Technology. The unit would be focused on Australia and the website covers many KLA areas that need to be covered. The site is very easy for students to use and has many links. There are also a number of classroom activites that teachers can use. Star Rating 4/5

    BTN is a fantastic resource for in the classroom. Aimed at higher primary school level, the site is full of news episodes that give students an insight in to what is happening around the world. Examples include the swine flu epidemic, asbestos alarm, bushfire report, rail safety, democratic elections and health reforms. All episodes are available to download. When teaching technolgy education this site would be a fantastic example of showing students how we can use technology in our every day lives. Star Rating 5/5

    Depending on the resources available in the classroom or school (example didgital cameras, printers and computers) This site would be a great tool in the classroom for students to use, there are many creative ideas on ways to present photos. There are also project ideas for teachers that they can use. This site would be an excellent way for students to become familiar with products that can be used within every day life. Rating 4/5

    This webiste is full of new and insightful ideas. In particular the DESIGN section is a great way for students to stay updated with the latest tips about technolgy whether it be using the camera on their mobile phone, creating movies, updating software or tweaking already made products. Even for the classroom teacher this site is a great way to stay up to date with technology change. There are also options to comment on the stories and hear what other people have to say about the idea or product. Star Rating 3/5

    Recommended by Gail Lipscombe Kids Printables is a great site for teachers to have in their favourites list. There are many great bits and pieces that can be used in the classroom. Ideas include dot to dots, mazes, cross words, find a words, bingo cards, stickers, flash cards, awards/certificates, colouring pages,jig saw puzzles, quizes, finish the picture and heaps more! One printable I really like is the All About Me Book, this would be fantastic in a HPE unit when students are learninging about who they are. The best thing about this site its all for free!     This website is a great seach engine that teachers can get their students to use in the classroom. There are a number of subject areas that include the curriculum which are then broken into subheadings, children click one of these and there is a list of suitable websites that students can use for their research. This search engine is a good way to ensure students stay safe and on track with their research. Star Rating 4/5
