Online course offerings. Students can enroll full-time or individual courses.

Online course offerings.
Uses Blackboard as a platform. Has access by mentors and school administration, incorporates multimedia.
Great example of a bad approach. Although very thorough, not engaging at all.
Another option, but again an option that doesn't seem very engaging. Focused on NCAA accreditation rather than learning.
Screencasting tool. It's free and relatively easy to use.
Another screencasting tool. Jing is by TechSmith who makes Camtasia (the best tool but $300). Unfortunately/fortunately Jing limits screencasts to 5 minutes. Really forces focused video production which is actually a good thing.
Good cheap tool. It's web based and you really need the Pro account for editing purposes.
Another web based tool for screencasting. I've never used it but it is by Citrix (the people who bring you Gotomeeting.com) so they understand web conferencing and video.
Web based screencasting tool. Easy to use.
Downloadable simulation for creating molecules. Students have to know molecular notation. Easy to have students create screen prints to add images to a blog post comparing the different kinds of bonds between elements.
More PhET simulations for high school science and some for math. The simulations are embeddable in BB but require a java download file to run. It is important to make sure students would be able to download that file.
