  Information contained in RequisitePro® projects can be extracted and assembled into various sorts of reports. These reports can be displayed as web pages or printed.
   
   
   
  • Reporting overview
     There are two software components required to generate and use reports: the BIRT Report Designer and the IBM® Rational RequisitePro Report Management facility. Most users will use the RequisitePro Report Management facility to launch reports and make minor modifications such as renaming a report template. A smaller number of users will need to learn how to use the BIRT Report Designer to generate report templates.
   
  • Report Management
     The RequisitePro Report Management facility is a Web-based application which helps you launch and manage RequisitePro reports. It can not be used to create new reports or report templates - that must be done through the BIRT Report Designer application.
   
  • BIRT Report Designer
     BIRT Report Designer is a publicly-available application which lets you create new report design files (templates). Together with the Rational RequisitePro ODA Driver, you can create reports which pull information directly from RequisitePro projects when executed.
