Flickr is almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application in the world. Show off your favorite photos and videos to the world, securely and privately show content to your friends and family, or blog the photos and videos you take with a cameraphone.
- These photos are tagged with "no known copyright" below any picture that could be used freely. This collection is divided in sets which makes finding images by subject easier. - Thousands of pictures taken by government employees during the duties of their jobs. There are 10 categories and then some special categories. The site says the photos are free from copyrights. With all of these photos and categories students in all disciplines should be able to find pictures to put in their webpages or their technology projects for class. - This site currently contains 3,680 pictures. The pictures are categorized and then sorted by popularity. I could see the art class using some of these pictures to study lighting or the photography class for discussions on proper picture taking.
