This is a really informative presentation about filming the right "look" from the start (instead of trying to fake it with presets); he tells you how to come up with "looks" for your footage... a visual language, if you will, in both the way that you film it to begin with and the way to enhance it in post.
Seriously, just WATCH IT! It's really interesting...
