Plaidkatie's List: North Korea: A New Era of Sanity Dawning?

Finally! China (the only country that has even a decent relationship with North Korea) has brokered an opening of the North Korean nut-house with some economic co-operation deals via the creation of 'special economic zones'….they have to have a special zone for economic activity for Chinese businesses to work in, as the rest of the country has no economy at all!

Well, that is a first for at least 2 decades! Calling for a re-building of their economy? Wow, Jong-Un is talking crazy! Well, talking crazy compared to his bat-shit crazy daddy who only spoke of how awesome North Korea already was! Not. Daddy Kim Jong-Il gave all the state's resources to building the military…there was never any talk of building an economy. So Junior-Un may just yet prove to be sane, and moves towards a real economy are closer now than they have been for half a century. Policy shift is imminent!
