A game of logic appropriate for grades 1 and up! Figure out how the larger Jolls can collect their children.
Students can play two games that help them learn to read a number line. At the easiest level, the number line displays whole numbers, and at higher levels it displays decimals. The first game shows a marker on the number line and asks students to identify the associated number; the other game shows a number and asks students to mark it on the number line.
This wonderful Sudoku game for very young children provides a variety of levels (see Options), help, and hints. It's a great way to introduce children to the logical thinking skills involved in Sudoku and give them lots of encouragement while they're learning.
Here's a very simple Sudoku puzzle appropriate for children 6 and older. The puzzle consists of four 4x4 squares (and so children can learn Sudoku while managing just 4 numbers at a time). Have fun!
