Great resource from a very reputable organization on how technology and media can seamlessly integrate into the preschool classroom. The examples are exceptional and pertain to a variety of grades. There is strong emphasis on age-appropriate use of technology, a main focus with any ECE or Pre-K-grade 2 educator.

"Most experts believe computers are not developmentally appropriate for children under the age of three (Elkind, 1998; Haugland, 1999; NAEYC, 1996). However, these same experts believe children three years old and older can begin to effectively explore and use computers." Dr. Wardle presents several thoughts on the effectiveness and appropriate use of technology in the young classroom.

This is a fantastic resource! This entire site provides information surrounding technology use in the classroom. Videos demonstrate use of different tech tools in all grade levels, evaluation tools and professional development.

Clearly NAEYC has already put many resources and time into researching technology into the preschool classroom. This helps to guide what recommended appropriate use would be and is a wonderful reference for supporting tech use. It can also help narrow down research topics.
