A tool for re­search and teach­ing activ­it­ies, project de­vel­op­ment and busi­ness, for the mon­it­or­ing of in­nov­a­tion in pack­aging design. Based on an on-line archive (com­pletely free and en­tirely in Eng­lish) of pack­aging projects, which are cata­logued and or­gan­ized ac­cord­ing to the cri­ter­ia at the base of com­mu­nic­a­tion design: com­mu­nic­a­tion as­pects (ty­po­graph­ic, icon­o­graph­ic, chro­mat­ic); struc­tur­al; of ser­vice; of sus­tain­ab­il­ity etc.
It al­lows users to find the most in­ter­est­ing cases, na­tion­al and in­ter­na­tion­al, col­lec­ted from sev­er­al bib­li­o­graph­ic­al, doc­u­ment­ary, on and off-line re­sources: ex­per­i­ment­al projects de­veloped dur­ing teach­ing and re­search activ­it­ies, spe­cial­ized pub­lic­a­tions, com­pet­i­tions, design agen­cies etc.

The Dieline is dedicated to the progress of the package design industry and its practitioners, students and enthusiasts. Its purpose is to define and promote the world’s best packaging design, and provide a place where the package design community can review, critique and stay informed of the latest industry trends and design projects being created in the field.
