Outta Site's List: Handy Shopping Apps

maps for malls, helpful when you aren't familiar with a mall and need to find a certain store or just want to know what stores are there
offers navigation on how to get to the store when you're in the mall and lets you know where the nearest bathroom is!

app brings up a google map of public restrooms available based on your location; users can rate how good the bathrooms are

lets you search local stores stock before going shopping
this is great around the holidays, such as Halloween-instead of going from store to store looking for the right size, check before you get there (can do this online) and stay updated using the app on your way there
I'd imagine this is very helpful come Christmas time, didn't work so great when searching for "peanut butter" but seems good to use when looking for a specific product, particularly electronics

seems to be everything all these other sites are in one: scans barcodes for more product information, lets you compare prices in stores and online, provides maps to the store, lets you create shopping lists, lets you share scanned items

Shopkick gives you rewards for going to stores-like Foursquare except with deals just for being there.

very cool- has coupons to many popular stores, even ones that may not be widely advertised in the store (like 15% off at NY & Co. for AAA members!)
You can add your favorite stores to your Favorites list easily from within a coupon, and each store usually has multiple coupons. However, many coupons are deals being offered in the store, but not all. Target has a phone # to text the word "COUPONS" to to get in store grocery coupons

stores member and loyalty cards just by scanning them with your phone
don't have to carry all the cards with you anymore, can share membership cards with other people (helps build up points)
