"Screencasting" refers to a digital recording of the action on a computer screen, and is sometimes called video screen capture. The overall effect is similar to imagining a video camera over the shoulder of a presenter sitting at the computer, with all on-screen action captured.

  • Social Bookmarking

Social Bookmarking tools allow individuals to save and share their bookmarks with colleagues, friends, and family. Four examples of social bookmarking sites are: Diigo, Delicious, Connotea, and iBreadCrumbs. To give you an idea of how it works, we have set up a Diigo site for IDL6543. This site will allow you to view the many links and resources from the course after it is over and you no longer have access to the online portion of the class. We encourage you to check it out.
