Starting with version 0.7, pfw requires sqlite and the PHP sqlite extension. Since the sqlite extension has been dropped from the PHP 4 port, PHP 5 is now a requirement. Stick with pfw 0.6.2 if for whatever reason you don't want to update your PHP to version 5.
