Young kids love technology, but also they fully don't understand it. The article here talks about the power of in-app purchases within igames. Kids always think that money it just an object within the game and has no cost. Now games like smurfs cost within reflect money in real life and kids who might not be able to read or understand will pay many dollars for their fun game without even knowing that they are racking up their parents bill. An example in the article of a girl who on the smurf app payed $1,400 on smurfberries. After this many parents protested about this. I agree with them that this is unacceptable. Apple and other companies should not have in-app purchases for game that are ment to be played by kids aged at least 19 and under.
