Social networks are helping once again in aiding the world and its people. Facebook and twitter have many fire stations, police forces and medical facilities connected to these websites giving easy access to contact them or learn on ways to protecting yourself. In the infograph required it shows many people use these networking sites instead of 911 for help. The question is "is this a good idea or a bad idea?" Well the info grapl gives agruments for both. With on going contact between you and the emergency facilities you will be more prepared for a future crisis. On the downside a message can be manipulated faking or giving the wrong information about a serious problem. I believe that this is good because sometimes through telephone is not that good, but these social networks give better responses.

The social network, twitter, wants to expand it's diversity and also it's range around the world by translating their site. They are asking for volunteers via a twitter translation center to aid translation into different languages. There is even a leveling system showing off who is the best translator based on levels of translating power. I can't find an explanation on how this works but it is true. This is better for the whole world for many reasons. More people around the world can learn of world wide events and stay contacted with their interest on the web. Networks will also get more money out of this, creating new servers around the world. I hope that they continue this connecting everyone in the world better.

Gaming a long time ago was once know as just one person playing a game by themselves in an arcade or at home. Then you could play with others but only if they were close by . Finally it has exploded as you can play games anywhere with anyone in the world. You even have the ability to talk to others and socialize which is a big step then what is was before. Many gamers have "lives" now and have many friends. I think that this will grow more and soon everyone will socialize through technology or gaming.
