What is Bash3k Pre-Alpha 1?
Bash3k is a complete overhaul/rewrite of Wrye Bash. Unlike the original Bash, Bash3k is designed to run on Python 3.2, make use of multiple threads, and support multiple games (TES3/TES4/TES5/FO3/FNV) with a single client. Of interest to the developers, Bash3k also reorganizes the codebase and cleans up all the accumulated cruft. -
- What does Wrye Bash do?
- It makes it safe to try out new mods because it will restore everything to the way it was when you uninstall a mod
- It makes more mods compatible with each other by importing information from different mods into a "bashed patch" - Not implemented for Skyrim
- It allows you to exceed the 255 mod threshold by automatically merging mods for you - Not implemented for Skyrim
