Okay sure, there may be some fact to this, but seriously, we are still going to far into standardized testing for this statement to hold much salt.

Some of these laptops were not cared for properly by the students and were returned before the conclusion of the semester in dire need of repair. Students reguarly brought their laptops to the support desk for malware removal. There were also reports of students using the laptops for tasks unrelated to the class during class time. Suffice it to say, at the conclusion of the Fall 2003 semester, all of the laptop classes were discontinued, except for the Educational Technology course. For the remainder of my time at USC - Aiken, there were 60 laptops sitting in a cabinet not being used.
