If the tricks for adding tags and notes are compatible, with this extension
I could save a page to each of my favourite saving apps (Evernote, diigo,
Trello?) in one action, rather than remember to do all, or choosing just
one (and then later trying to remember which one).

Nope...
1. It is only a link, not a clipping (although usually with diigo I do not want the whole article, but with Evernote I usually do.
2. Compared to using the extension of each is not getting hints of previously used tags, or being reminded what my folders are called.
3. Also it seems Evernote does not appear to create new tags.
4. And the default is for diigo to make the bookmarks private

And it is not just Evernote & diigo, in some situations I email to myself, other times I blog about it without saving it anywhere else. So I guess ideally I need to better understand how and why I use each tool.
