Simon says 1978 one of the first games to incorporate music.
Simon Says was the first electronic game to incorporate music as a game element. It was invited by Ralph H. Baer and Howard J. Morrison with software programming by Lenny Cope, and manufactured and distributed by Milton Bradley.
Simon’s tones, on the other hand, were designed to always be harmonic, no matter what order they were played in, and consisted of an A major triad in second inversion:
▪E-note (blue, lower right);
▪C#-note (yellow, lower left);
▪A-note (red, upper right).
▪E-note (green, upper left, an octave lower than blue);

Founded in 1860, Milton Bradley Company is the oldest game manufacturer in the United States. Over the years Milton Bradley has marketed such classics as The Game of Life, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Twister, and Yahtzee. Since 1984 the company has operated as a division of the world's largest toy company, Hasbro, Inc.
Founding in the 19th Century
Milton Bradley was one of the great 19th-century American inventor-industrialists. Although he is now best known for the game company which still bears his name, Bradley's many non-game inventions including the zoetrope and color wheel, as well as his promotion of the early kindergarten movement, have also had a lasting influence on American culture in the 20th century.
In the world of videogame hardware, there are successes, there are triumphs, and then there is Game Boy. Nintendo's handheld brand is the Rocky Marciano of gaming, consistently dominating for its entire career and retiring undefeated. As we celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the gray brick, the lessons it taught the industry still ring true: on the road, the practical system will take out even the most powerful competitor. In putting form, function, and playability over raw horsepower, they paved the way not only for future generations of portable systems, but for the Wii and a new generation of casual gamers.

Introduced in 1985, the NES was an instant hit. Over the course of the next two years, it almost single-handedly revitalized the video game industry. Selling over 60 million units, people brought games like Mario and Zelda into their homes for the first time on the NES.
Game Boy
The screen was four-colors-of-gray but the device defined portable gaming and was enormous fun. Game Boy, which came out in 1989, was closely associated with the classic game Tetris when it debuted. Game Boy is the most successful video game system ever released. Since its introduction in 1989, Game Boy has sold well over 150 million systems worldwide. Originally bundled with the game, Tetris, this little handheld became an instant phenomenon.

Songwriters, in the traditional model of the recording industry, are artists for hire who work with producers and record labels to write material for a particular singer, rapper, or band. A single songwriter may work with an artist on a full album, or songs may be collected from a number of writers to fill a record. Perusing a label’s catalogue will usually reveal that a select stable of songwriters are favored and are contracted repeatedly to write for multiple artists signed to the same company. While the songwriting process may be seen as a solitary endeavor, at the professional level, the process is actually one of intense collaboration and constant revision. There are two basic methods of landing a tune on a record; the first is to sell or license a previously written composition for an artist to record. The second is to be hired to work with an artist to write original material.
