Soldier's Experience
These resources review a solder's experience during the Civil War. Students will better understand conditions and experiences soldiers dealt with during the war.
Site reviews camp life of a soldier and other experiences that a Civil War soldier could experience.
This is a PDF resource for teachers in regards to a soldier's experience and other Civil War notes for the battle at Gettysburg. The guide is designed to use prior to a field trip to the battle field, but it is also informative for classroom use too.
There are 10 different soldiers to choose from to read their bios and experiences from the war.

Civil War: Abraham Lincoln
These resources mainly focus on Abraham Lincoln.
Here is a link to an interactive presentation of the Gettysburg Address. It can be read aloud, the font can be changed from the script to print, and key parts of the speech are highlighted to review in more detail.
This site is dedicated to Abraham Lincoln. It reviews his life, but also has an area dedicated to his views on slavery and the Civil War.
Civil War Fun
These resources are additional links I found that students may enjoy as they learn and interact through the Civil War.
Students can use this interactive mystery game to read clues to guess who the Civil War historical person's identity. Each person has two artifacts to match to them and then once guessed, a short bio is presented.
This site offers written lyrics for songs used during the Civil War. There are songs from the Union, Confederacy and popular songs of that time.
