Special Education Resources on the Internet (SERI) is a collection of Internet accessible information resources of interest to those involved in the fields related to Special Education. This collection exists in order to make on-line Special Education resources more easily and readily available in one location.

ISER is a directory of professionals, organizations, and schools that serve the learning disabilities and special education communities. We help parents find local special education professionals for learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder assessment, therapy, advocacy, critical teen issues, and other special needs.

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators offers teacher resources, including categorized lists of sites that are useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth.

The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) is dedicated to improving results for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities ages birth through 21 by providing leadership and financial support to assist states and local districts.

Tinsnips is a special education resource. It contains tools for teachers of students with autistic spectrum disorders, related developmental disabilities, and young children with special needs.

The Illinois State Board of Education partners with school districts to provide programs and services for students with specialized educational needs. Special Education Services assures that these programs and services meet state and federal requirements. This involves both compliance and technical assistance functions.
