As Christians, it's natural to oppose lies or any other kind of ungodly acts, but does this mean it's okay to hate?
We, as Christians are constantly seeking God's wisdom, but sometimes we find it's not such an easy task. Even with all our reference and study materials, we still seem to get confused.
It's amazing to think of how Jesus, who was perfect, was so willing to suffer for our sakes. He not only suffered to be an example for us, but took on all the sins and sufferings of the entire world.
By focusing too much on the here and now, many people are depriving themselves of having something wonderful to look forward to, a home in heaven, free from all the cares and sorrows of this world.
As wonderful as it may seem to have the abundance of study resources we have available to us today, there is only one resource that is completely infallible and that's the Bible. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. I John 5:9
With the way things are going in the world, sometimes it's hard to think of things as ever getting any better. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 explains there is a season and a time for everything that happens under the heavens.
Even as there would be no life here on earth without the sun, there would be no life here, or in eternity, without the Son.
Some people believe it's possible to be without sin while on this earth, but the truth is, we must fight against our own sinful nature every single day.
Maybe one of the reasons evil abounds is because when man is left to his own devices, he ultimately creates chaos.
Just as any other ritual or act of observance under the old law, I believe the act of observing the Sabbath on a particular day was replaced with the only true rest we can ever be assured of, Jesus Christ Himself.
We're living in an age where we're supposed to be tolerant, not only of other faiths, but of everyone and everything. Yet, if you look around, all you seem to see is a lot of fighting and protesting. If someone says or does something that goes against someone else's point of view there's always trouble. Where's the tolerance?
Its in my weakness that His strength is made perfect. I am no longer a perfectionist, trying to do everything on my own, but someone who knows "I can do all things (only) through Christ who strengthens me."
When we wrestle with our problems, trying so hard to fix things on our own, we often end up frustrated and exhausted. Satan is succeeding in wearing us down and we desperately need a rest, an escape.
There seems to be so much disagreeing among Christians it leads you to wonder if there's anything they actually do agree on. How can there be so much disagreement when we all worship the same God and read the same Bible?

Photo of the American flag lined up perfectly with a church steeple in background. What a wonderful portrayal of our country and what it was founded on!
Inspirational thoughts;applying the teachings of Jesus to the world we live in today.
These days, instead of believing in God, a lot of people believe in wizards, fairies, elves, vampires, and many other fantasy creatures. Is there something to this?
Children are so innocent and trusting. Nothing much gets in the way of their faith, does it? They totally trust someone to take care of them and provide for their every need. When God says to come to Him like "little children," this is exactly what He means. We must come to Him with unwavering faith, trusting in Him to provide for all our needs.
