• A recent report by Jason Leopold a senior editor of truthout, stated that:
• 'The Defense Department allegedly provided two fundamentalist Christian organizations exclusive access to several military bases around the country. This access became official sanction for these groups to proselytize amid the ranks, despite the fact that such activities were in violation to federal law.
• In addition, the evangelical Christian groups have posted detailed instruction guides on their web site that advises their members about tactics to use to win over soldiers, or “Pre-Christians,” to evangelical Christianity when visiting military installations around the country.
• The report also added that "according to a week-long investigation by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, a government watchdog organization, the evidence it has uncovered proves the pentagon has been engaged in a pattern of widespread evangelizing in violation of clause 3, article IV of the constitution, which forbids a religion test for any position in the federal government, and the Establishment clause of the First Amendment of the Bill of Right, which says congress shall make no law regarding an establishment of a religion.
• Furthermore, individuals representing a specific denomination may only offer spiritual guidance to soldiers and are prohibited from using “the machinery of the state” to proselytize or try to convert members of the military." (Leopold, 2007).
• Religious fundamentalism is a giant movement that stresses a strict attitude, a literal adherence to a set of basic principles, and a literal interpretation of religious books.

  • Oh, my God! No! You..you mean that Evangelical Christians (aka "Fundamentalists") are those who actually observe their respective religious tenents and..and...and "believe" their respective religious documents????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now even though there are enclaves of the "faithful" in Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, etc..etc..who are observant in their religious beliefs and actually take their "gods/god" literally along with their several religious writings, Evangelical Christians who do the same...ARE doing the same? Well, we can't have that; now can we?
• History can be compelling and illuminating if people take the time to learn it. However, knowing history has never deterred man from repeating it.
• Brief history:
• The Anglo-American intelligence services began the infiltration and the financing of  Islamic groups in the 60s and 70s starting with the Moslem brotherhood in Egypt , and ending with many others in which they orchestrated and created.                                             
• The concept behind this process was that Islamism is anti-communism, and since 30 percent of the late Soviet Union was Islamic, it made perfect sense to plant the seed, and fuel this movement in order to destabilize the alleged iron curtain.
• According to Cooley (2000) The US and its allies Egypt , France, Saudi Arabia, Morocco , Iran , with the cooperation of the Israelis officially established on September 1, 1976 what was known as “the Safari Club.”
• This club was responsible for financing, training, and launching the New-old brand of Islamism carried on by mercenaries called the Moujahidin or the freedom fighters in Afghanistan and many other regions in the globe.

• Many of the Islamic charity offices that were busted after 9/11  

   

  by the Bush administration were established in the 80s by the CIA as a front for a recruitment operation to find young gullible or desperate Moslems who were willing to fight communism and defend the Moslem land of Afghanistan.
• Millions were spent to create staff, offices, communications, and operational capabilities.

• The financing of the Afghani-Russian (Soviet) war paid great dividend for

   

  the Military Industrial Complex just as did every other war including Vietnam .
• An organization or a society that is based on war has its own self-preservation needs.
•  It must create and perpetuate conflict and wars in order to survive.
• The implicit understanding of the long-term goal of the Safari Club and the Afghanistan operation was that these freedom fighters/ mercenaries would become a tool for the intelligence community that would help create turmoil, division, and low intensity conflicts whenever it is strategically or economically needed. That in turn will perpetuate the need for war.
• The reality is that fundamentalism is globalization’s best friend, because it divides people, weakens the community, and renders everyone into a softer target to be manipulated, propagandized, and molded.

  • I can almost hear Hitler's echoing voice in this statement; for he stated similar words along these same lines as regards Christianity.
• The Reagan administration was chosen by the money people, because of Reagan’s belief system and orientation.
• These money people who control intelligence services under the guise of being the super-patriots, made the Reagan administration the fertile ground for fostering Christian fundamentalism to counteract the Islamic fundamentalism in which they already have brought into existence.
• These capitalists/socialists/ money masters who also financed the Soviet Union already knew that they were going to pull the plug on the Soviet experiment, therefore, a new monster had to be created, and they had to pave the way for new wave of fear and continuous discord.                                                 
• What is better than religious fundamentalism to create this menon?  
• Ironically, the majority of the money masters believe that religion is for idiots, however, financing it and promoting it is a different story, as it becomes a necessity that undergirds their desired results through lasting contrived conflicts.

  • Well now, I do agree with this statement. That many trusting, innocent Evangelicals were and are being duped into being pawns is a fact.
• The creation of two extremists camps, the Jesus camp and the Mohammed camp has been a great success for the global establishment as we have witnessed in the past few years. 
• Analysis:
• The virus of extremism was injected in many countries to cause them illness and self-destruction, as well as to control their leaders, dismantle their societies, and  exploit their resources.
• Fundamentalism engenders fear, which in turn manufactures consent among the ignoramus.
• “Nationalism is the archenemy of globalization” (Skaff, 2007). No nation shall have true sovereignty, in the new global order.
• The thugs and the mercenaries shall rule in this new world order, as they become the speakers for the rest of humanity.
• All that was needed was a major event like a Pearl Harbor, or a 9/11, which in turn created the new conflict of the century, and as a result, cameras will be placed on every corner, surveillance of every citizen’s conversation will be captured, and the micro-chipping of every human and animal will happen in order to establish a total information awareness network, and a complete control of humanity.                             
• Ideology becomes an essential tool for effective propaganda.
• The New Reich has risen!
• Conclusion:
• Can we curtail fundamentalism and reverse the tide?
• Unlikely, because the only way to end it is by ceasing the currency flow, and since ordinary citizens have no longer any control over money or over their lives, nothing can be done about it.
• However, the elite have always underestimated the common man. Our only chance to reverse this trend is by caring and  becoming involved, by protesting lies and injustice, by voting people out while voting is still an option, by educating ourselves, learning history, turning television sets off, researching the wealth of information that is still available to us, thinking, and demanding the truth.
• Throughout history the elite have despised the masses, but feared their rage that could depose them overnight.
• Control is an absolute illusion. Many in history have thought that they had total control over their lives, or the countries they ruled, until they were awakened by a rude jolt of reality.
• For every evil action, there must be an equal or opposite reaction that will eventually cause the evildoers to self-destruct.
• The antichrist is not an individual but a group of people that have infiltrated every aspect of society and have conquered the world financially and militarily if needed.
• It is an international group that call themselves citizens of the world,  (i.e. like our infamous David Rockefeller and his henchmen (Kissinger and Brzezinski) who’s ultimate goals are the illusions of power, control, and the desire to be god.                                   
• It is pathological narcissism gone wild!

• It appears the Government has new Lego building blocks to play with. Prison cells that are designed to snap together to build a prison anywhere at any time to meet the demand.
• The new Lego style can be snapped together to make a hundred, a thousand, or hundred thousand cell prisons, two, three, or ten blocks high.
• Rather expensive to make these mobile type units don't you think?
• Our government must see a need for them somewhere. Your home town when needed maybe?
• Move em in, move em out when and where needed!
• The people need to confiscate a few of these units and stack them in DC and Wall Street. They are truly needed there and could be put to good use.

• Congress passes 'Pedophile Protection Act'

• A "hate crimes" plan that opponents have warned will be used to crack down on Christian speech, even the reading of the Bible, is poised to be signed by President Obama, a longtime proponent of the plan to give homosexuals and those with other alternative lifestyles special protections not provided other classes of citizens.
• The Senate approved the "hate crimes" plan 68-29 today after Democrats strategically attached it to a "must-pass" $680 billion defense appropriations plan.
• Most Republicans, although normally strong supporters of the U.S. military, opposed the plan.
• "The inclusion of the controversial language of the hate crimes legislation, which is unrelated to our national defense, is deeply troubling," Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., told Fox News after the vote.
• The plan also hands out federal money to states and local governments in pursuit of "preventing" hate crimes.
• Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., said the move is a step toward thought crimes and suggested the bill will be a warning against those to speak out about their religious faith.
• Obama was strongly supported during his 2008 presidential campaign by homosexual advocates, and has expressed a willingness to act on the proposal, calling it an "important civil rights issue."
• The plan – which creates federal protections and privileges for homosexuals and other alternative lifestyles but denies those protections to other groups of citizens – earlier was approved in the U.S. House.

• When the Senate earlier approved a key move, Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, said, "In … months President Obama and the Democratic-led Congress have forced on the American people the most radical and immoral agenda.  

  "The administration and the Democratic-led Congress are out of touch with the mainstream. They represent the most fringe extreme elements of America. They will not be able to continue their efforts to undermine moral values, socialize the economy and trash American pride and heritage.  
• "The people will not remain silent forever," he said.
• The House vote prompted the American Family Association to alert its constituents and create a procedure for them to send e-mails to Washington about the plan.
• "In its never-ending quest to shred America's Judeo-Christian value system, the left is planning to hurriedly push through a 'thought crimes' bill," the alert said. "So-called 'hate crimes' laws are really laws that criminalize thought, because they punish an individual not for what he did but for what he thought. Politically incorrect thoughts about homosexual behavior will result in enhanced criminal sanctions under this law."
• The AFA said, "Everywhere hate crimes laws have gone into effect, they have been quickly used to intimidate, silence and punish people of faith who express deeply held religious objections to the normalization of homosexuality.
• "Such laws not only punish officially disapproved speech and thought, they create two tiers of victims. Under hate crimes laws, some victims get more protections than others, which violates the fundamental American principle of equality under the law," the alert said. "In fact, such laws actively discriminate against heterosexual Christians who are victims of crime, since they will get less legal protection than homosexual victims."
• The American Family Association said since "sexual orientation" nowhere is defined in the law, "this law will give pedophiles, voyeurs, and exhibitionists special protections, which is why the bill has correctly been called 'The Pedophile Protection Act.'"
• Also offering an online "contact Washington" process is the organization Pray in Jesus Name, founded by former U.S. Navy Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt, who was involuntarily removed from the U.S. military after he prayed "in Jesus name."
• His organization submitted via fax almost 400,000 petitions to Washington opposing the "hate crimes" law.
• Also, a separate larger Fed Ex campaign to warn U.S. Senate members of the dangers of the "hate crimes" plan dispatched more than 705,000 letters to senators.
• The letter-writing effort was organized by WND columnist Janet Porter, who also heads the Faith2Action Christian ministry. It allowed citizens to send individually addressed letters to all 100 senators over their own "signature" for only $10.95.
• Klingenschmitt said there is a remote chance Obama may not like the proposal, since it is linked to funding for an engine for the F-35 fighter jet, which he has opposed.
• "If President Obama vetoes the F-35 second engine, as he promised when speaking in Phoenix last spring, he will ironically kill the homosexual agenda and their evil 'Pedophile Protection Act,'" he wrote.
• Attempts by Republicans to add amendments stating "pedophilia is not protected as a sexual orientation" were  blocked by House Democrats.
• In fact, Rep. Alcee Hastings, D-Fla., said all alternative sexual lifestyles should be protected.
• "This bill addresses our resolve to end violence based on prejudice and to guarantee that all Americans regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability or all of these 'philias' and fetishes and 'isms' that were put forward need not live in fear because of who they are. I urge my colleagues to vote in favor of this rule," he said.
• Further, the proposal has a broad definition of "intimidation," so a Christian pastor's sermon could be considered 'hate speech" if heard by an individual who then acts aggressively against someone based on "sexual orientation."
• The pastor, Klingenschmitt said, could be prosecuted for "conspiracy to commit a hate crime" or "inciting violence against gays" for quoting the Bible.
• As it went through the House, the version was H.R. 1913, or the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009. The Senate then worked on its own version, and it ultimately was added as an amendment to a defense spending plan.
• As WND reported, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder admitted a homosexual activist who is attacked following a Christian minister's sermon about homosexuality would be protected by the proposed federal law, but a minister attacked by a homosexual wouldn't be
• The revelations came from Holder's June testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which was taking comments on the proposal. The measure also was the subject of discussion on talk radio host Rush Limbaugh's July 3 show.

• "This is the question," Limbaugh said. "(Sen.) Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) presents a hypothetical where a minister gives a sermon, quotes the Bible about homosexuality and is thereafter attacked … by a gay activist because of what the minister said about his religious beliefs and what Scripture says about homosexuality. Is the minister protected?"  

  No, said Holder.  
• "Well, the statute would not – would not necessarily cover that," Holder stated. "We're talking about crimes that have a historic basis. Groups who have been targeted for violence as a result of the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, that is what this statute tends – is designed to cover. We don't have the indication that the attack was motivated by a person's desire to strike at somebody who was in one of these protected groups. That would not be covered by the statute."
• Continued Limbaugh, "In other words: ministers and whites are not covered by the hate crime statute because we're talking about crimes that have a historic basis, groups who have been targeted for violence as a result of their skin color, sexual orientation. So hate crimes are reserved exclusively for blacks and homosexuals. Everybody else can get to the back of the bus on this one."
• The bill was nicknamed "The Pedophile Protection Act" when Rep. Steve King proposed an amendment during its trek through the U.S. House that would specify pedophiles could not use the law to protect their activities.
• Majority Democrats flatly refused.

  • And this law comes in the midst of yet another child murder in Florida..(week of Oct 22, 2009). Yeah, protect the child rapists/murderers and thereby force the family members of said child to seek retribution and justice by their own means; thus government's continued contribution to crime.

• Erik Stanley, senior legal counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund, told WND the move is alarming because "this would be the very first governmental and societal disapproval of a sincerely held religious belief, held by a majority of Americans, namely that homosexual behavior is immoral.
• "It's the first time the federal government is writing into law a disapproval of that belief," he said.
• While he said he doesn't believe there will be "immediate" prosecutions of pastors and churches for teaching the biblical injunction that homosexual behavior is sin, "I think the effect on speech and religious speech is nonetheless real."
• He said he does expect that pastors soon will begin being called to testify in "hate crime" cases in court "as to what that pastor preaches, what the church teaches, what the Bible teaches."
• "When this happens, there will be a shock wave through pastorates in America," he said.
• Ultimately, he warned that the homosexual advocates who have pushed the "hate crimes" plan consider this law just the first step "toward silencing Christians."
• That development already has been observed not only with the enactment of "hate crimes" laws in other nations but in the "hate crime" related speech codes existing on many university campuses in the U.S., Stanley said.

• Jose Saramago, who won the 1998 Nobel Prize for Literature, recently called the Bible "a manual of bad morals," but ought to know better, according to a Catholic church official.
• According to the Catholic News Agency, Father Manuel Morujao of the Portuguese Bishops Conference said the comments from Saramago were "superficial."

• "There's no need for criticism to be offensive. It should expressed with respect and humility. What we have here is clearly exaggeration, which we didn't like to see in him," Morujao told the agency.   

  He said Saramago now has insulted millions of believers.

• The author, 89, said the Bible is "a manual of bad morals [with] powerful influence on our culture and even our way of life."
• Saramago, of Portugal, made the comments only days ago when he was promoting his newest book, "Cain."
• He also described the Bible as "a catalogue of cruelty and of what's worst in human nature."
• Saramago, who now lives in the Canary Islands, is guilty of a "publicity stunt," said a spokesman for Portugal's Catholic Church.
• "No one will ever transcend the inspired moral ideals of the Bible, especially Christ's Sermon on the Mount. Because Saramago doesn't believe in God, he has no reliable, ethical standards, only his limited, fallible opinions. History proves the world is a much better place because of the moral influence of the Scriptures," said Gary Cass of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission.
• Saramago had said without the Bible, human beings "probably would be better."

• According to CNA, Father Fernando Venturo, a Portuguese biblical scholar, said Saramago should have been more accurate.  

  "The Bible can be read by somebody who has no faith, but it requires some intellectual honesty on the part of the reader," he said.  
• "Not knowing how to situate a text in its context is unforgiveable for a writer," Venturo said.
• A comment page participant on the CNA site wrote, "Saramago is a long time member of the Portuguese Communist Party and an atheist. What else can one expect from him?"

  What concerns me is that just an hour before I read today's update, a brother from my church came to me w expressing this man's exact same views. I don't understand how Christians don't see the literal fulfillment of scripture happening right before their eyes at our time. I could understand if the ridicule came from unbelievers hundreds of years ago, but NOT at this time and NOT from Christians! Concentration camps? I dunno. Although it would come as no surprise if we follow the pattern of china with that 60,000 member church being arrested. I expect persecution and I see true believers being marginalized... But I'm shocked at the disbelief from self proclaimed Christians who have the scriptures in their hands (though not in their hearts) and joyfully await the NWO.

  Thank you so much for sharing this alarming document. I did notice it was written in 2008, as one of the comments mentioned... however, I think that just indicates the thoughts expressed have been possibly "percolating" with those in the military & government since then.
  
  It seems the major changes and shifts in attitudes and actions first appear as someone's opinion, with others jumping on the bandwagon as time goes on.
  
  We get "warnings" (which God graciously gives those of us who are watching and paying attention) of changes coming before they actually happen. I think that just like the coming New World Order, which is being worked toward in Copenhagen as we speak, this report you provided is definitely a harbinger of things soon to come to Christians.
  
  I can now see how people of the world and even the "nominal" Christians would be happy to round us up.
  
  It's certainly time for believers to draw close to God and be prepared (even here in the U.S.)to experience persecution or death for our belief in Christ.
  
  In the meantime, I always appreciate your insights and look forward to your new postings to stay informed and forewarned.

  I can tell you that not all military members think like this major. I work with many outspoken Christians who are in the military. Many are just as disgusted as you and I with how our country and Constitution are getting strategically and systematically dismantled/ destroyed.
  
  While God is in control, I believe it's also naive to deny the (in the words of Jimmy DeYoung) stage-setting events happening right before our eyes. Some Christians believe the Rapture will be the "get-out-of-trouble" free card. Trouble is coming for Christians, and yes, I believe we will have considerable "trouble" before the Rapture.
  God has given our country over to its sins. On Obama's change.gov web site during the election, he hid NOTHING about what he stood for and what he planned to do...and the country chose its leader.
  1) Obama stated if you want to know what he believes to look who he surrounds himself with. Read the many articles from World Net Daily (www.wnd.com) covering the EXTREME thinking of his core group of advisers.
  2) Why would the National Guard need so many "Internment/ Resettlement Specialist" for "FEMA camps"...in the USA? This administration recognizes there will be those who WILL NOT compromise their faith, military members included (about 25-50 million Americans according to some articles). So, these people (we) will have to be dealt with. Put two and two together: the radical thinking of this administration and the "FEMA camps" for those that need "reeducation".
  The Bible says in Matt 24 that many will turn from the faith. The "fair-weather" Christians will compromise and given the choice to proclaim Christ or deny Him...they will deny Him and passively go along with imprisoning Christians and the further destruction of the United States.
  3) My opinion: what better way to identify/mark the true Christian faithful and eventually purge the military of Christians? It will be done when Obama and this Congress repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". Barney Frank has already publicly promised to make this part of the fiscal year 2011 Defense Authorization Bill. If you remember, that's how the Hate Crimes legislation was passed...it was put into the last Defense Authorization Bill.
  
  Unless you're going to compromise, prepare your heart now for what lies ahead...

  Though the report was released in May '08, and is now in the blogosphere, tells me that with that fall's election of BHO, gives boldness to those who would want to identify Christians.
  
  This report will gain visibility as did the DHS one did earlier this year.
  
  The situation facing Bibi may very well be the catalyst for moving us to Isaiah 17:1. Panic will consume the JCS as to what direction the CinC will take... hence the fate of our country.

• The Army declined to put WND in touch with Stuckert, reportedly assigned in Afghanistan, to query him about his monograph.
• But Robert Baumann, director of the graduate degree program at Fort Leavenworth told WND it was simply an "academic paper" like works at any college across the nation, "which is to say it reflects the author's own opinions."
• "It has no institutional consequences," he said.

• However, he could not provide information about whether the writing had earned Stuckert a passing grade for his course or even whether it was graded.  

  "The content does not represent anyone's views but the author's," he said.  
• But he also said he could not say whether any other writings ever had attacked a religious belief as Stuckert's work.
• "Gratuitous criticisms of a religious point of view would not pass academic muster unless it was evidence based and argument based," he told WND.

• Others were more blunt in their assessments of Stuckert's work. Blogger John McTernan, for example, called it "the most dangerous document to believers that I have ever read in my entire life."  

  "After reading this document, it is easy to see the next step would be to eliminate our Constitutional rights and herd us into concentration camps," he said.  
• "The last third is an interpretation of Bible belief on world events. This report blames all the world evils on believers! World peace would break out if it were not for Bible believers in America," he said.
• WND has reported the U.S. Department of Homeland Security previously has identified those who hold fast to the basics of Christianity as possible terror suspects.
• McTernan said he had contacted Col. Stefan Banack, listed on the monograph as the director of the School of Advanced Military Studies, who defended the writing.
• "The conversation was extremely heated between us, and he hid behind the freedom of speech to produce it. He refused to let me write an article to refute this attack on Bible believers. He refused to tell me what this study was used for and who within the military was sent copies.
• I believe that it represents an official military view of Bible believers as Col. Banack said there was no study or article refuting this one," McTernan said.
• Among Stuckert's interpretations:
• "The U.S. millennial proclivity for an unqualified military defense of Israel will continue to be a potential flashpoint of great import. • The report, dated May 22, 2008, is marked that it is cleared for general distribution without restrictions.
• Stuckert's own abstract explains his perception of millennialism, which "refers to any belief system, religious or secular, which anticipates a purification of society or the world through dramatic and sweeping change."
• "In the U.S. today, the most well-known and influential form of millennialism is a religious variant known in formal, theological parlance as dispensational pre-millennialism. This contemporary form of millennialism took shape during the 1970s and has significantly shaped current U.S. security policy.
• Dispensational pre-millennialism is loosely based on depictions of battle between the forces of good and evil in the biblical Book of Revelation. In the U.S., dispensational pre-millennialism contends that in the very near future Jesus Christ will 'rapture,' or remove his church from the Earth. A period of intense tribulations and battles will follow, culminating with a cataclysmic defeat of Satan. Jesus would then establish an earthly kingdom for 1,000 years – the millennium."
