Digital Citizenship
Digital Citizenship implies a set of norms, values, and ethics that need to be taught to children in today's world, too protect the young and teach responsibility.
Well, first citizenship, which is formally defined as “the quality of an individual’s response to membership in a community.” This makes citizenship far more complex than a simple legal matter, but rather one that consists of self-knowledge, interaction, and intimate knowledge of a place, its people, and its cultural history.
So digital citizenship is nearly the same thing–”the quality of a response to membership in a digital community” would be a good first crack at the definition.
Digital Identity
Digital Identity is what defines your Digital Persona. Who you are, what you use the internet for.
Digital identity is all the online information and data specifically about an individual.
Digital identity is made up of elements that fall into four categories (source: Lionel Maurel / Fadhila Brahimi):
“Managing your digital identity” means monitoring the use of these elements.
Digital Security
Security used to protect personal information, hardware, software, and networks.
Critical Thinking
The ability to gather information and use it in a productive way to solve problems, or tasks.
Plagiarism
Using another person's work or idea and claiming it as one's own without giving proper credit
Digital Rights and Responsibilities
Certain Rights and Freedoms that the digital citizens have in the world today. A certain level of responsibility is also attributed to using the internet responsibly.
Collaborative Media
The ability to collaborate creatively, or work with others over the internet
