The exceptional follow-up to 'The Art of Innovation'. This volume uses case studies to define the many roles that are required for innovation to take hold and the one guy who can bring it the whole operation to a halt.
The basics revealed in a clear and concise manner from an expert in the field. If you are a professional or student in the information design field, this book MUST be on your shelf.
This book offers useful insight. It's not nearly the best resource but worth having along with more substantial works.
A classic essay on the use and sometimes intentional misuse of maps. Another must have for anyone in the information graphics profession.
Tufte's books are exceptional required reading. His methods may be more intellectual than practical for many, but they will challenge the way you think about design and information — and that's always a good thing.
