TeachersCount is a great resource and inspirational site for Teachers, Pre-Service Teachers, and Boosters. TeachersCount is composed of blogs written by several educators. I really like TeachersCount because teachers write about everyday experiences and personal opinions. I feel the website can be very resourceful to my future career and possibly a site that I would enjoy using as a Teacher.
The BOOKWINK Podcast is a good resource that can intrigue children to read the book, Quest for the Tree Kangaroo, and many others books about endangered species. The video contains film of wild animals and a narrator. The film of exotic wild animals will catch students' interests, as the narrator deepens students' background information of endangered animals.
PoetryTeachers.com is a great resource for Literacy Teachers. There are hundreds of poems and activities for students of all ages. This website can be useful to me in the future because I would like to teach the Language Arts. There are many poems to reference and share with the students and fun poetry activities for the students to enjoy.
PBS Teachers has several activities and lesson plans available for teachers of all subjects for grades Pre-K through 12th Grade. I especially liked all the activities available for several content areas of Language Arts such as Creative Writing, Poetry, Grammar and much more.
I love this website! I currently use this resourceful website to find weekly reading material for my tutee student. This website contains reading materials, phonics guidance, vocabulary enhancements, tools to increase reading fluency, poetry, and assessment tools. I will continue to use this website as a Pre-Service Teacher and as a future Educator.
