Lancashire Libraries's List: Put Your Feet Up and enjoy your Library online

At your Library catalogue you can search and browse our entire stock of Books, DVDs, Music CDs and Talking books . Login to your account to reserve and renew online or create your own reading lists and rate your reading.

Lancashire libraries have opened a new branch...a virtual one. At our Download library, you can borrow eBooks and Audio books for free from our collection. The process is easy but will require you to download and install some software on to your computer.

Library Elf is a third party services that helps you manage your loans and reservations. As a Lancashire Library member you can sign up for free to receive notification when books you've reserved have arrived, reminders before you loan become overdue and be able to kepp track of your account or those of the whole family in one place.

Whether you're doing homework, a pub quiz, a PhD, researching a hobby, going into business or doing a crossword, this part of our Digital Library gives you access to whole online library of high quality information resources. Normally to access any of these, you would need to take out a paid subscription.
As part of Lancashire County Council's Digital Library, we have paid the subscription so you don't have to. These sites are available for free to anyone using a People's Network PC or the Wi-Fi network in any Lancashire library and most are also available at home to Library members.
