ector
![]() | This soldier is a competent tank, like a mini-guardian. Since he's the only soldier with two innate buffs, one for threat and one for armor (+310 armor), trait to maximize those abilities. Heavy Armor (+966 armor) should be first, and since most attacks in skirmishes are melee, Melee Resistance (+828 to melee defence). Boundless Morale, and Boundless Resolve round my protector out. Be warned, a Protector in a group setting will annoy tank types who want to control aggro. I choose only skills that increase threat, Ultimate: Defender of All (AoE force taunt), Threatening Shout (AoE threat), Whirl of Fury (AoE threat, 146.4 AoE damage), and Taunting Strike (single-target threat, 234.3 damage). He will pull aggro right from you, which is why you brought him in the first place. Using the AoE threat skills means you'll don't need to be as choosy about your direction of this soldier, but you will want to fight in his vicinity, so his skills do affect the mobs near you. My protector has 7542 morale, and 653 power. |
