ipl2 is a website created by library professionals. This link will take you to a search for animals under the "For Kids" filter. The websites in the list are appropriate for use by upper elementary and middle school students. Of particular interest to the visual learner is the BBC link which has thousands of short videos on a wide variety of animals. Many of the links are to zoos which have reliable information on the animals in their care
