Northwest Missouri State University reports on their etextbook initiative. While I'm not surprised that students had issues with the readers, faculty engagement is interesting.
Currently they offer the Courseware plug-in for WordPress, which allows you to add and edit a schedule, create a bibliography, and manage general course information.
