Math Blaster has a lot of really great games and worksheets that accompany their games on their website, Unfortunately, you have to pay for a subscription to play most of the games, but the ones that are free are pretty cute and very kid-friendly. These worksheets could be developed into part of a full-fledged lesson plan that resulted in the students playing the games on their own if they each had their own devices.
Math games of all types! This website has games organized by the type of math your students are working on. This site relates to several SOLs across multiple grade levels, and also gives teachers the chance to practice if they need a quick brush up on a certain math skill!
These STEM activities are a great way to integrate Math & Science instruction (all tied into the SOLs, of course!) for 3-5th graders. The thing that I really like about this website is that it combines technology usage to learn more about the activities, and hands-on, outside-time activities. As much as kids love to text and be on the internet, it would be great it they could see these activities (the way they are set up, they are the skeleton of a good lesson plan waiting to happen) and use the internet for more information while actually doing the activity.

Amongst other things, this cute quick game utilizes SOL 3.13 in science, where students have to convert between fahrenheit & celsius. This is a quick brain break of a game but it really does utilize some of the 3rd grade SOLs!
VS.3 (4th grade social studies). This interactive adventure from National Geographic also features lots of neat little mini-games to give students a bit of a brain-break from the historical content of this game. Very fun!
Who doesn't love a game of Simon? This game would be great for 1st graders who are beginning to learn about the globe & the rest of the world, but who aren't quite yet ready for the geopolitical lines to be added onto the continents. 1st Grade SOLs.
Online phonics games! This site is PERFECT for K-1 and covers so many language arts SOLs its not even funny because of the focus on phonemic awareness. Also great for ESL kids!
VA SOL 1.6h (Language Arts): student will use common sight words. Sight word bingo! What a fun game!
K.7 & K.11 - This game requires students to place the alphabet back in order!
Health 1.2 - Take care of your teeth! Students learn about "sugarbugs" and the importance of dental hygiene through this interactive SMART presentation. Not so much a game, but an online storybook worth sharing!
Language Arts 3.4. Provides lots of opportunity for students to work on antonyms & synonyms.
I'm cheating a little by including this because I also included the John Smith Explorer digital storybook in my games list - but! There are so many cool resources on here and most of them take form as a story that have complimentary games on it. Worth checking out!
