AsusTek is well-known for its Eee line of netbook PCs, which are inexpensive, low-powered, lightweight machines designed for road warriors without intensive computing needs. The company informally announced Wednesday, via a product page on its Web site, that it's taking that approach to the tablet market as well, announcing the reading-focused Eee Note EA-800 tablet.
