This site explains the election process in an easy to understand format. Children would easily be able to explore this website in order to learn about the election process. This site also has an election dictionary that students could use to look up unfamiliar words.

This site offers election news for kids. I could require students to read the news articles and then conduct a discussion about what the students read. This site also has a lot of really neat teacher resources.

This site offers news about various election issues. It also has a few activities that students can complete and information about confusing election issues. Students could learn alot by exploring this website in their centers.

This site is actually for parents, but it gives some ideas that teachers could incorporate in the classroom. For example, teachers could utilize certain campaign ads in the classroom and conduct discussions after viewing them.

This site allows students to discover several aspects of the election process. In order to utilize this site, I could divide students in groups and allow them to research a specific part. Each student could perform research using the site and present their information.

This site expalins why voting is important and then goes on to explain the election process. Students could go to this site in a center to learn more about voting.
