This is an excellent blog and teaching resource. The author began the blog as a pre-service, and is now beginning her second year of teaching. She provides links to lesson plans and field trips. Her teaching philosophy focuses on creativity and the belief that all students have potential.
This is more of a classroom website in blog form. There are links to class notes, videos, test reviews, and other interesting sites. The blog goes back to June 2009, so there is information from more than one year.
This site does not have much classroom content, but it does give good examples of science in everyday life. The author does not seem to update during the school year, but the information from her summer professional development is interesting.
This blog gives great ideas for teaching physics. There are examples of activities, lab experiments, and projects. All entries are tagged, so you can easily navigate to topics that you are interested in. The author also address different teaching techniques such as assessment and extra credit.
An interesting point of view from a high school physics teacher. Topics include: Khan Academy criticism, Standards-based grading, Angry Birds in the physics classroom, and ideas for physics activities and demonstrations.
