I am using a couple of quotes because it shows how people have changed because of Harry Potter, and how they were given courage to do things they may not have done.

After reading the last Harry Potter book, Lucy Kobbs feels like the books will always be apart of her life. While at a convention they interviewed a few Harry Potter fans. One girl got through high school and college because of Harry Potter and has become the protector of bullied kids. One guy said that it gave him dignity and courage, and he later joined the Peace Corps. Harry Potter has changed people and to have them make a difference in the world.

    • “It’s the most soul-destroying thing,” Rowling says about being poor. “We were quite broke. But we weren’t starving. A couple of times I did skip meals.”
    • Rowling says the book “saved my sanity.” She was proud of herself, too. “It was proof positive of how much I wanted to write about Harry.”

I am using 2 quotes that explains how her life was before the book, and how it changed her.

The article is about how J.K. Rowling was before she started writing. It gives us information about where she grew up and other background information. It also describes how the book changed her life. Before the book she was poor and barely had enough food. But now after her books have published, she is known around the world. It wasn't easy for her to find a publisher to publish her books. Thats how it is with many authors. She is just like everyone else, and was able to write such amazing books.

I am using a few quotes that describe her life before the book and how her books became a success.

The book talks about her background, what gave her the inspiration to write Harry Potter, and the many awards she recieved for her books. It talks about her life before Harry Potte, and her life after the publishing of Harry Potter. She was jsut an ordinary girl who had a passion for writing. She used to write all the time. She tried having a job of a secretary, but she ended up just writing the whole time. That's when she new she wanted to be a writer. The inspiration of Harry Potter came from every day things that she expierenced.

In this article it talks about J.K. Rowling's success and how it influenced the world not just in daily life, but in literature. This is the first time people have experienced this type of literature. No author has been able to influence so many people by writing about a wizard. Its not just about a wizard, its about how they over come challenges, and show the true meaning of  friendship.
