very much in beta as of August 2011 - got the tip from EdSurge newsletter. 10/11 They are up and running. I signed up and started to give it a whirl. It is a way to automate actions on the web between all of your applications.

Gooru looks like the real deal, but is still in alpha. Their tutorial shows a simplified LMS that allows teachers to search catalogued resources that appear to largely be visual, and then organize them into lesson resources, and perhaps even stand-alone lessons?
Students appear to have access to free text resources on any topic that are organized by their teacher. I really want to get in and kick the tires.
Mindleap appears to review ipad apps for parents that want to purchase them for their kids. Revenue model is advertising and maybe consulting?

Interesting website. I found it from the LinkedIn profile of a DOE person I met while at Big Ideas Fest. It seems that it is an attempt to connect different online communities of educators. Will have to look more closely later.
