Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, Journalism or a related field) or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
5-7 years of relevant and progressively more responsible internal communications experience in a complex organization; Fortune 500 preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage and execute complex internal communication strategy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; outstanding writer with an eye for detail
Strong organizational and project planning skills
Requires the combination of strategic planning, internal communications skills, knowledge of various communications vehicles and IT familiarity to develop and execute a comprehensive plan
Ability to evaluate specific internal communication programs and their success metrics
High capacity for work and ability to multi-task; high sense of urgency
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Video/Film Production or related field.
EXPERIENCE: 7-10 Years experience writing and producing promotion and marketing projects for broadcast or cable television or in an agency environment or in-house creative department required
Proven broadcast production skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of the post-production process is essential.
Proficient in writing and editing of broadcast materials.
Proven leadership skills and collaboration across functional interdisciplinary teams.
Experience in integrated marketing communications and content development.
Must be well organized, capable of handling several projects simultaneously, have the ability to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
