This web site was originally for kids who are being home-schooled.So it's literally has a teacher to teach you. It is a great website with it's e-courses that perfectly explain all of Algebra 1. It also has a forum that  answers any commonly asked question if you still don't understand the concept being taught. I would rate this my number 5 because it helps a lot and teaches in a creative way.

This website, along with it's creative name, has a creative way of teaching Algebra 1. Instead of just having lessons it goes over specific parts. It has a interactive questions throughout the videos which makes you have to interact and not just listen and try to understand. Another thing that's great about this website is that it isn't just on Algebra. It goes through all the high school math courses so you can use this website your whole high school career.

Something that is interesting about this website that is 'go at your own pace.' There aren't any videos you have to keep up on. All you have to do is find the specific part that you are confused about and the website will give you additional information about the topic. SOS math is really easy to use and explains Algebra concepts in a way that is easy to understand. I would rate this my number 2 because it was really easy to use and explains all the concepts in an interesting, fun way.

This is another go at your own pace website, which I think is really great. I also like the Algebra lessons index. After you are done reviewing the concept you can check your understanding with a Algebra worksheet if you want to practice. If you really don't understand there is even a tab to find local math tutors. I like the math games that make learning more fun. There is even a math solver which could be beneficial for checking answers.

Mathexpression.com has something I haven't seen in any other website. They have a goal before the video and a general summary so you know what you are going to learn. Along with these great features it also has study tips after each lessons. With these you aren't just listening; it's telling you how to remember the concept and apply it to everyday life. Another thing I haven't seen is that they have an app so you can take your algebra help on the road which could really help when you are trying to lean on a vacation.

I like that right away when you open the website you can choose what grade of algebra you are in. That eliminates trying to find the right book and making sure you aren't wasting your time on things you've already learned. They also have all the math concepts that the book covers. It's very easy to use and the explanations are easy to understand. If the answer on the "your turn" section is wrong they go back and explain in even more in depth to make sure you understand the concept fully.

This website is solely based on worksheets to practice the skills we've learned in Algebra. This website isn't very beneficial for learning but more of practicing. This could be useful when studying for a semester exam. It shows all the concepts we will go over and you can test to see if you need more practice on a certain concept. I also like that it is quick and easy so you aren't using a lot of time. It is just a general summary of your knowledge on a topic.

One thing that I struggle with is word problems and I know that a lot of people get easily confused by them. I like that this resource gives you an example on all different types of word problems. Anything from age problems to quadratics. It doesn't just give you a word problem but it also tells you how to solve it. It also goes into Geometry so it could be used in the future.

This resource is definitely different. I think it is a nice break from just learning and you can actually apply the things we've learned. It really stretches your mind and makes you really think about what you're doing. It is a nice resource to have when you are stressed about not being able to understand Algebra. You are still technically doing Algebra while you are taking a break.

I like that right away when you open up the website you are greeted with a summary of the website. This could help you to see if this is the kind of website you are looking for. I like that it has a lot of different topics and that the explanations are easy to understand. Another helpful thing is that it has things we've learned in the past. That is helpful for little things or properties that we've forgotten. I would rate this my number 1 because it goes over everything we have learned or will learn. It also goes everything we learned in past years and the things we will go over in years to come

This website is different because it goes at learning in a totally new way. I've found that flashcards are really beneficial. It is also very nice that they have a mobile app so you can literally learn anywhere. It's also nice  that there are many different subjects so this could help in other classes too. Even though I am not in love with Compass Learning it is still a nice resource to have. Because it goes off MAP scores it knows exactly what you need to learn. It definitely has a creative way of teaching but that is what makes it unique. The only thing that could be bad is that you have to be apart of a school that does compass to get an account so everyone may not be able to use this resource. I would rate this number 4 because it is very informational and helps teach in a creative way.
