   The reason we speak about keywords is that Google delivers ads targeted to your content and to your audience. You should have a general idea how they accomplish this:
• Ads that are placement-targeted may not be precisely related to the content of a page, but are hand-picked by advertisers who've determined a match between what your users are interested in and what they have to offer.

   Use custom Ad Channels for each of your ad placements, for example, “Top 5 Link Unit Blue Palette” or “Left Side Navigation Image Skyscraper” etc. Tweak, track and measure the success of each of these custom channels so you know what gives you the highest CTR(Click-Thru Rate. Some ad formats and colors will work better than others, but you won’t know which until you can compare them to the rest of your Ad units.

  SheToldMe was the first Adsense Revenue sharing site that I used, and with great success. The trick for hubbers is to use their blog posts to link their hubs, with each blog post then being linked on your YouSayToo.co

  • Forget about ads in sidebars. This is the worst place to put  Google ads. They will sit there for years, looking all pretty, but with few if any clicks.
   
  • Text ads win over image ads. From my research, I see a two to one ratio between image and text ads. Twice as many people click text ads than image ads.
   
  • Less is more. When you place ads in a more “scientific” manner, then there is no need to plaster ads all over the place. I get more clicks by using fewer, strategically placed ads.
   
  • The number one producing ad is… and not just for me but overall for everyone… 300 x 250 box ad.
   
  • The number two best producing ad over all is… the leaderboard.
   
  • The number three best producing ad is… the vertical half banner.
   
   

  The Best Places to Put the Ads

   
   
  • The box ad, with NO border, medium text with BLUE links placed in the text of the article – on the LEFT hand side. You will get far fewer clicks with the ad on the right.  The second best place for the box ad is in the bottom center of the post.
   
  • Full banner ads work best in the top center of the post or page.
   
  • Leaderboards surprisingly work best at the bottom of the website. Leaderboard Ads at the top do not produce.
