    digital citizenship isn't someone that already know the digital world like adults thats been doing it for years its mainly to do with kids and start email accounts and chatting. the simple stuff before they even know how much bigger it even get from there

    • Although digital citizenship potentially begins when any child, teen, and/or adult signs up for an email address, posts pictures online, uses e-commerce to buy merchandise online, and/or participates in any electronic function that is B2C or B2B, the process of becoming a digital citizen goes beyond simple Internet activity.

    digital literacy is not just learning about technology but how to manipulate it and use it to the fullest benefits possible that each individual sees fit to use it

    • Digital literacy is the ability to effectively and critically navigate, evaluate and create information using a range of digital technologies. It requires one "to recognize and use that power, to manipulate and transform digital media, to distribute pervasively, and to easily adapt them to new forms".[1] Digital literacy does not replace traditional forms of literacy, it builds upon the foundation of traditional forms of literacy.[2

    digital identity is kinda like a persons profile that gives a detailed description of that person even though some people in the cyber world tend to make stuff up to make themselves look or seem better than they really are

    • Digital identity is a psychological identity that prevails in the domains of cyberspace, and is defined as a set of data that uniquely describes a person or a thing (sometimes referred to as subject or entity) and contains information about the subject's relationships to other entities.[1] The social identity that an internet user establishes through digital identities in cyberspace is referred to as online identity.

    Critical thinking is not just agreeing with whatever you hear that you think makes since but to actually sit down give serious thought to what you are hearing and give a debate on stuff you either don't agree with or have questions about.

    • Critical thinking is a type of reasonable, reflective thinking that is aimed at deciding what to believe or what to do.[1] It is a way of deciding whether a claim is always true, sometimes true, partly true, or false. Critical thinking can be traced in Western thought to the Socratic method of Ancient Greece and in the East, to the Buddhist kalama sutta and Abhidharma. Critical thinking is an important component of most professions. It is a part of the formal education process and is increasingly significant as students progress through university to graduate education, although there is debate among educators about its precise meaning and scope.[2]

    Copyright is something someone gets to show that they are the ones that did the original work on something so somebody else doesn't come along and try to claim that piece of work for themselves

    • Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, giving the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it, usually for a limited time. Generally, it is "the right to copy", but also gives the copyright holder the right to be credited for the work, to determine who may adapt the work to other forms, who may perform the work, who may financially benefit from it, and other related rights. It is a form of intellectual property (like the patent, the trademark, and the trade secret) applicable to any expressible form of an idea or information that is substantive and discrete.[clarification needed][1]

    Plagiarism is when a person copies someone else's work and try to make it their own. Even though in the 18th century during the "Romantic movement" it was encouraged but now it is frown upon.

    • Plagiarism is defined in dictionaries as the "wrongful appropriation," "close imitation," or "purloining and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions," and the representation of them as one's own original work,[1][2]

    Collaborative media to me means that a group of people coming together and sharing ideas and opinions on one project and/or multiple projects.

    • Collaborative media refers to the medium in which a collaboration takes place. For instance a word document or wiki in the case of coauthoring, vocalisations, body language, auditory and visual perceptions in face-to-face collaborations, or a mix of many media as in the case of the production of a play.

    Privacy is a way to keep information private that you only want to keep to yourself and if that person wish's to let their private thoughts or projects open to the public then they have that right but if they want to keep it to themselves then they also have that right as an individual

    • Privacy is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves or information about themselves and thereby reveal themselves selectively. The boundaries and content of what is considered private differ among cultures and individuals, but share basic common themes. Privacy is sometimes related to anonymity, the wish to remain unnoticed or unidentified in the public realm. When something is private to a person, it usually means there is something within them that is considered inherently special or personally sensitive. The degree to which private information is exposed therefore depends on how the public will receive this information, which differs between places and over time. Privacy partially intersects security, including for instance the concepts of appropriate use, as well as protection of information. Privacy may also take the form of bodily integrity.

    disinformation i believe is when a person just throws out information to throw people off and away from their main objective so that they can get ahead and get all the credit.

    • Disinformation is intentionally false or inaccurate information that is spread deliberately. For this reason, it is synonymous with and sometimes called black propaganda. It is an act of deception and false statements to convince someone of untruth. Disinformation should not be confused with misinformation, information that is unintentionally false.

    Independent learning is when a student or person is self teaching themselves whatever it is they are trying to learn but even though it is the student teaching themselves they still have the staff to be there to help guide them into the right directions.

    • What is Independent Learning?
    • “Independent Learning is learning that is self-directed. The learning is defined, organised and completed by the learner. Educators (experts) may act as facilitators or guides. However, the learner is encouraged to plot their own path and to value their own research as well as input from peers on the same level as information and guidance that they may gain from teachers (experts).”

    ethics to me is just another form of saying human behavior

    • Ethics, also known as moral philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.[1] The term comes from the Greek word ethos, which means "character". Ethics is a complement to Aesthetics in the philosophy field of Axiology. In philosophy, ethics studies the moral behavior in humans, and how one should act. Ethics may be divided into four major areas of study:[1]
      • Meta-ethics, about the theoretical meaning and reference of moral propositions and how their truth values (if any) may be determined;
      •
      • Normative ethics, about the practical means of determining a moral course of action;
      •
      • Applied ethics, about how moral outcomes can be achieved in specific situations;
      •
      • Descriptive ethics, also known as comparative ethics, is the study of people's beliefs about morality

      From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    • A blog (a portmanteau of the term web log)[1] is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first). Until 2009 blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often were themed on a single subject. More recently "multi-author blogs" (MABs) have developed, with posts written by large numbers of authors and professionally edited. MABs from newspapers, other media outlets, universities, think tanks, interest groups and similar institutions account for an increasing quantity of blog traffic. The rise of Twitter and other "microblogging" systems helps integrate MABs and single-author blogs into societal newstreams. Blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.
