    Helps abandon children/slums

    • Ma-Niketan takes care of children, which are from the cesspool   and slums from in and around Mumbai where poverty, lack of education   and sanitation are more of a rule than of being an exception.   This of course exposes the little ones to all kinds of illnesses.  
    • Lack of education and poverty also forces many adults to abandon   their children, especially the girl child, at a very tender   age.
