    What man would be crazy enough to to want to take over this particular baseball team at the last minute of spring training and walk into such a tension-ridden situation? The might be mutinies in the clubhouses and maybe even riots in the streets. Its hard to even comprehend the immense pressure that Jackie at the center of all this attention. Baseball players differ from most people because unlike doctors, lawyers, and accountants they perform in front of tens of thousands of spectators. They are scrutinised on every movement. It would be difficult enough for a Rookie but Jackie carried the weight of a magnified tenfold being both a Rookie and the first African American to ever play major league baseball.
