o tem kako kolicina testosterona v telesu odloca pri izbiri partnerja

    • Our level of hormones plays a key role while we choose a mate as high testosterone in women makes them more attracted to masculine actors such as Daniel Craig, with men favoring the femininity typified by Natalie Portman
    • changes in testosterone levels affect the extent to which men and women are attracted to different types of faces.

    • trained musicians really do think differently than the rest of us.
    • Vanderbilt University psychologists have found that professionally trained musicians more effectively use a creative technique called divergent thinking, and also use both the left and the right sides of their frontal cortex more heavily than the average person.

    • But what happens if a child is particularly successful at expressing her needs using gestures? Does development of spoken language suffer? One approach to this problem is to look language development in cultures that tend to use more gestures. Many studies have confirmed the "stereotype" that Italians are more physically expressive than other groups. It stands to reason that even Italian infants probably learn more gestures at an earlier age than babies in other cultures.

    • some of the more entrenched elements of many athletes’ warm-up regimens are not only a waste of time but actually bad for you. The old presumption that holding a stretch for 20 to 30 seconds — known as static stretching — primes muscles for a workout is dead wrong. It actually weakens them.

    • there are at least two possible explanations for this strange anomaly.
    • The second explanation has to do with black and white television and film. It's possible that the boom in black and white film and television during the first half of the last century either affected the form of people's dreams at that time, or affected their beliefs about the form dreams generally take.

      • difficulty describing feelings to other people

      • a stimulus-bound, externally oriented cognitive style.
    • few dreams or fantasies due to restricted imagination; and concrete, realistic, logical thinking, often to the exclusion of emotional responses to problems. Those who have alexithymia also report very logical and realistic dreams, such as going to the store or eating a meal.[14] Clinical experience suggests it is the structural features of dreams more than the ability to recall them that best characterizes alexithymia.[1]

    • Criers do show calming effects such as slower breathing, but they also experience a lot of unpleasant stress and arousal, including increased heart rate and sweating. What is interesting is that bodily calming usually lasts longer than the unpleasant arousal. The calming effects may occur later and overcome the stress reaction, which would account for why people tend to remember mostly the pleasant side of crying.
    • Research has shown that the effects of crying also depend on who is shedding the tears. For example, individuals with anxiety or mood disorders are least likely to experience the positive effects of crying. In addition, the researchers report that people who lack insight into their emotional lives (a condition known as alexithymia) actually feel worse after crying. The authors suggest that for these individuals, their lack of emotional insight may prevent the kind of cognitive change required for a sad experience to be transformed into something positive.

    • Hair contains all the organic nutrients that plants need to grow, Zeliazkov said. But it takes about a month for those nutrients to break down into an inorganic form that plants can use. [...]

Those results suggest that hair could be a good fertilizer for slow-growing crops, such as basil, sage, and ornamental shrubs, Zeliazkov said. For quicker-growing vegetables, gardeners might need to mix hair with chemicals to get through the first few weeks. Hair is on the list of certified organic growing methods.

    • Maslow used Einstein's writings and accomplishments to exemplify the characteristics of the self actualized person. He realized that all the individuals he studied had similar personality traits. All were “reality centered,” able to differentiate what was fraudulent from what was genuine. They were also “problem centered,” meaning that they treated life’s difficulties as problems that demanded solutions. These individuals also were comfortable being alone and had healthy personal relationships. They had only a few close friends and family rather than a large number of shallow relationships.
    • Consequently, Maslow argued, the way in which essential needs are fulfilled is just as important as the needs themselves. Together, these define the human experience.

    • Dr Michael Nicholls, a neuroscientist and co-author of the study, said: “Clearly, the eyes not only allow us to see the world around us but they also present a window to the working of our mind.”

The findings, published in the journal Current Biology, were based on the testing of 12 right-handed men who were placed in a darkened room.

Each individual were asked to list every number between one and 40 in as random a fashion as possible.

Each eye was mapped in detail and each tiny movement recorded and measured.

    • If the eye moved a fraction to the left and slightly down, the next number they picked was likely to be smaller, whereas if it moved to the right and up, the number would be higher.

    • i feel like i have to concentrate on a porn scene or porn picture in my head in order to start gaining an erection.. i cant seem to just go with the flow of actual touching and sensations from a girl. Of course this has played a HUGE roll on my inseurities and sure as hell makes me feel like less of a man. I wish I could stop masturbating and be able to be intimate with my gf again.
    • First, get therapy from a counseling who deals with this specifically. Don't be afraid or ashamed, because over 70% of men view porn on a regular basis. Second, be honest and open with your spouse. Yes, it will be very difficult and she is going to be very upset, but you have to be understanding. She will come around when she sees you actually doing something about it. Third, subscribe to an internet provider that filters porn. It is not 100% effective, but it will be essential to you removing the temptation.
    • The bottom line is, porn is screwing us up. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that- easy access to porn today+most men view it on a regular basis+skyrocketing sales of ED remedies= porn is a major cause of ED
    • #1: REMEMBER THE CONSEQUENCE: There is a consequence to masturbating to porn: work performance suffers (missing out on $$ or a raise), your wife/girlfriend is left out of your life (divorce/breakup), and you feel like your life is going nowhere (I wish I was better than I am), AND you will have a tough time getting pregnant (I will never be a father).

#2: FIND A REPLACEMENT ACTIVITY: This is borrowed from the idea of nicotene replacement therapy. You need to find an activity that gives you the same "high" without the negative side effects that masturbation and porn offers. My suggestion: Exercise -- because 1) it will give you an endorphin release 2) it is suggested to counter the effects of ED 3) it is just plain good for you. Now I'm not suggesting a full hour work out at the beginning -- when you feel the urge, go to the gym for 15 minutes, or run around the block. Tell yourself that you are better for it, because you are going to get ripped abs, and you will be healthier sexually -- you are going to be that stud that you fantisize about in porn.

    • So here's my proposal of a cure:
      1. Get rid of porn and install filter so you can't sabotage yourself. Then up to the mental thing.
      2. Getting your sex life back to normal is all about realising that normal sex situations are FINE, not pale and boring in comparison to what you can find on the internet. So, do this exercise: try to masturbate while mentally placing yourself back in one of the situations you tried to have sex with a real girl that you liked a lot and felt really attracted to. Think back at a scene where you had something going, like foreplay, kissing, maybe even recieving oral.... and starting from those REAL sex conditions, try to imagine that with a good turnout, both of you reaching climax.
If you manage to turn a real sex scene that happened in your life in a good "fantasy" then I think you are on your way of recovering.
3 If you manage to do that, each time you feel the need to masturbate, don't imagine extreme, pervert sex scenarios but instead try to place yourself in a closer-to-real situations and try to get turned on by that. The purpose is to teach your brain in time that real sex is GOOD and SATISFACTORY and you don't need any exaggerated fetish porn or whatever kinky stuff you are used with watching.
    • And now to give you my background: i am a girl and hell knows why I enjoy watching porn quite a lot and it ruined my imagination... meaning I find normal sex dull and I can't get myself to an orgasm from sex with my BF... we have been together for only 2 weeks and before that I had a 6 months period of loneliness when my bad habit begun to develop. So it's not about the ED, you guys, it's about screwing up your mind and wanting very abnormal stuff from sex. Hope I did not shock you too much and maybe this will help.
    • One thing I know of sure which works is the practice of daily Yoga, breathing exercises and most important of all is meditation.......
We know the reason being too much porn stuck in our heads and now the cure will be to go away from it as far as we can and stop worrying about it, because u'll realize that it'll just happen, especially when ur mind is in neutral stage and not focused on any kind of tension, With the practice of meditation, brain starts to realize and feel its very own intrinsic power, which in normal sense called power of mind, and things start to work normally,
Its all in you, just need to dig a bit more inside
    • nitric oxide is the compound that the body releases when initiating an erection (relaxing the blood vessels). for several different reasons, some men don't release the level of NO needed for a good one...
l-arginine is the amino acid that makes the nitric oxide in your body. and one can just simply go to a gnc store and get this supplement. When taken together with pycnogenol, l-arginine is a good solution to have solid erections. there has been studies proving this.

      http://www.nutritionexpress.com/health+condit...

and there are almost 0 side effects to these two supplements. and the good part of the whole thing is that you don't take any nitric oxide supplements but supplements that boost the production of NO...
      good luck
    • been off of porn for 6-7 months now. i stopped because i noticed normal women did not arouse me any more. even if i fantasized about a gorgeous woman, my dick would stay limp.

over the past few months, i've been thinking about and visualising sexual intercourse with a woman that i like. imagining her naked body and curves gives me a very nice erection. being around her and touching and playing with her has the same effect. this was totally different 7 months ago, when i had nil reaction to such things - i was interested in porn only.

overall, my libido is not what it was when i was 13-14, but at least i have my erections back.

for me, half a year off porn did it. it was a long time, but i succeeded.

i do not take any supplements - i just let my body rebuild its balance and try to think about normal, actual real life women.
    • 1. Stop any sex activities
      2. Start taking multivitamins with male function combo to help your body recuperate the lost of energy.
      3. Don't use other pills like viagra, cialis, etc during this time because i believe those pills will force your body to provide an energy that is not available and that might cause harm to your body.
    • Ok dudes, I'm in my early 30s and sad to say I'm in the same boat as a lot of you. Had I known six months ago what i know now I wouldn't be in this boat with you but that's life. I broke up with my girl about 7 months ago and during the time we were together I was a 100% champ and never had any issues in bed. In fact my girlfriend used to complain about my prowress.

I looked at porn while we were together but not that often because she hated it so I always had to hide. So I might have looked at porn 3-4 times per week at the most. However shortly after we broke up I turned to good old reliable porn because I thought if I didn't keep wanking I would lose my potency. I actually thought I was doing myself a favor. After doing this frequently several times per day for months I noticed changes in my sperm, it became more watery and my nuts actually felt tired and drained. I had to resort to more and more extreme/nasty porn to get excited. Bad bad bad!

Fast forward 6 months and I finally get a hot babe in bed who is ready to hop aboard and do her business. Suddenly I notice my brain and penis weren't on the same team. My brain refused to recognize a hot naked female chick as something that should turn me on. Only porn women doing insane sexual acts that I'll never have the luxury of doing did the job. I could get an errection but it was weak and didn't last. Wow that was embarassing. I found this forum and am glad to hear it's because of porn and I have developed a plan to fix this problem for good.

      Here is my plan:
      1. Cancel porn account and never watch it again. NOT worth it.
      2. Eat foods daily that aid in boosting male sex drive. Bananas, almonds, pumpkin seads, fig newtons, rare meats, ect.
      3. Excersize: I will run 3 miles a day roughly 3 days a week and play sports.(I'm already athletic)
      4. Only beat off using imagination and no more than one time per day to real
