Google Apps is a collection of web-based programs and file storage that run in a web browser. The applications include communication tools (Gmail, Google Talk, and Google Calendar), productivity tools (Google Docs: text files, spreadsheets, and presentations), a customizable start page (iGoogle), and Google Sites (to develop web pages). Google stores all of the files and content centrally and keeps a record of the different versions of a file. With Google Apps, sharing content is as simple as granting someone access, which facilitates collaboration, peer review of academic materials, and the collective generation of knowledge.
I love this one. The only little mistake (which the designer recognizes) is the use of the "dumb" apostrophes a few times (the humanity!). But I love this routine (classic) and the type treatment.

I work constantly to update the existing materials and add new stuff to keep the ideas relevant. I do my very best to ensure that the materials are properly edited although occasionally you will find typos. I’m currently in the process of working my way through the handouts to edit them and bring them up to 2008 content standards, starting with the most popular ones. If you find pieces that need to be edited, be sure to contact me.
Overhyped Fear Of Child Predators Leading To Real Concerns About Child Privacy
So here you go…a list of plug-ins we have running here on our Wordpress MU 2.6.3 install. Please note that this site has been created for teachers to communicate with parents. As of now that is its function within a larger picture of a learning/communication portal we are creating here.
"The teacher probably didn't understand the privacy settings on her Facebook account. Information you post can be either publicly viewable or something that is just seen by your friends. She probably thought what she was posting was private, but left the default settings on to let everyone see your profile," commented BluNews. "A lot of people unknowingly do this. That said, the teacher messed up and certainly diminished her ability to teach her kids. I'm not sure if firing her is the right thing to do, but she should be disciplined. Also, I doubt this is the last time we'll hear about something like this. School systems should set policy on issues like this and warn teachers that negative postings about their jobs could lead to disciplinary actions."
