For anyone that wants to recover and stay ahead in these volatile times, you have to develop and hone constantly a leverage mindset.\n\nMany people associate the term leverage with financial leverage or borrowing money. Here are the simple steps to leverage:\n\nStep 1 Look at all cash transactions: I can invest $1 cash and double it (2x) and have $2 cash. I made a $1 profit ($2 - $1 original investment = $1 profit).

* The middle class will be taxed\n * The rich will be taxed\n * Businesses small and large will be taxed\n\nNo matter what the government says, there is not enough money to fund universal healthcare:\n\n * - Insurance companies will increase premiums and lower benefits

The other night, I watched an inspirational film The Blind Side starring Sandra Bullock which brought up the concept of a Proper Hug.

What is a proper hug? Is there such a thing?

To achieve a Proper Hug:

Step 1: Define it.

A Proper Hug is one exchanged by two or more people purely out of love.

When you start up any business, at some point you have to open the doors and start selling.

When the doors open, most of the time sales are low or even nonexistent. Or, you might get an initial flurry of sales and then a fast decline.

Furtively, early in the morning, I typed in Google his name, Frank B. It had been years since I had even thought of him. Maybe decades that I wondered where he was and what he’s doing.

What prompted me, I questioned. I knew right away; I had started reading Ted Kennedy’s memoirs. Kennedy reminisces about his early days in Hyannis Port, MA. The youngest of nine children, he relates how he looked up to his older brothers, Joe Jr. and Jack.

Our Government must park its ego and realize that the natural forces of the marketplace are larger and more powerful than itself.

What does this mean?

The Government should be the referee – not the player.

Call it the greatest sleight of hand in human history.

Watch over here: the rich, the greedy, the outlandish big salaries, the credit swaps growing in value, the collateralized mortgage securities, the promises of transparency.

There will be no true recovery of the housing market until:

1. People realize a home is not an asset. An asset generates income whether you work or not. A home does not create current income.

Most businesses do not succeed with the original Idea with which they started. It is more important that in the Pre-launch, Launch and Post-launch stage that you have the right Entrepreneurial Mindset to be flexible, open and resourceful enough to adjust to the unknown constant change and feedback.

Whatever you set out to accomplish is a series of steps or goals that either prove or disprove your Idea. Ultimately, you and the people you have “sold”, or have persuaded to buy, want to see Performance.

In launching a new company the key focus should be on the pre-launch phase and creating sales to generate cash flow.

Avoid the full pain today for more pain down the road:

1. Keep borrowing from China.
2. Print money.
3. Bail out unsuccessful companies for votes.
