    Equality of technology in the classrooms discussion. People are striving for this. Good point made about businesses giving schools old laptops.

      • Equality of technology in the classroom is a growing process. Can't be guaranteed..

    • Equality of access can be measured in two ways - having the technology itself within the organisation and ensuring that where the technology is available it is actually used to best advantage.

    Website that offers online games for children to teach them different aspects of online safety.

      • I noticed that they are all safe and reliable sources like PBS, AT&T, Kids JR.. and not spammed sites.

    Technology users need to be aware that not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to technology.

    • Digital Access:   full electronic participation in society.
       Technology users need to be aware that not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to technology.  Working toward equal digital rights and supporting electronic access is the starting point of Digital Citizenship. Digital exclusion makes it difficult to grow as a society increasingly using these tools. Helping to provide and expand access to technology should be goal of all digital citizens.  Users need to keep in mind that there are some that may have limited access, so other resources may need to be provided.  To become productive citizens, we need to be committed to make sure that no one is denied digital access.

    Internet filters in school merely cover up the problem instead of resolving it. Internet policies and safety need to be integrated into curriculums and taught, not just covered up by filters.
