On the Susan G. Komen website there is a tab that is titled "Understanding Breast Cancer". Under that tab there are multiple tabs that say the following: Breast Facts, Risk Factors & Prevention, Early Detection & Screening, Diagnosis, Treatment, After Treatment, Breast Cancer Research, Facts for Life, etc. All of the different tabs have a bunch of information dealing with that subtopic of the broad Breast Cancer topic. This is a very credible source because it is created by the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which is a very well-known and esteemed organization all over the United States. Furthermore, on the website under the Breast Cancer Research tab there are many tables of a variety of research studies that have been conducted in order to discover how numerous factors come into play with Breast Cancer. Some of the factors include: age, race, ethnicity, pregnancy, diet, birth control, hormones, alcohol/drugs, etc. I think this is an awesome source! The Susan G. Komen website has so many different informational tabs that I definitely can use to gather fundamental information about Breast Cancer. I know that I will use this source to provide a foundation for my awareness event that I am hosting!
