A great site to get students speaking. Put up a picture and require students to speak and say something!
The BEST self study or language lab site around. Get a nice dictionary, lots of audio, bright animations, thematic progress....this site is an excellent addition to any classroom. Get your students learning at home or in a lab while you help them individually.
Great site for self - study instruction on use in class with a screen. 5 levels with lots of interaction
A top knotch Text to Speech site (TTS). Put in any text, even of a very long length (like text from your school textbook!) and then listen to it read by a variety of accents and voices. Save it as an mp3 for repeated practice or use an avatar / icon to deliver the text orally. Great stuff to make for rich presentation in the class.
A good site with multiple levels that tests students listening skills and spelling. Use for a dictation in class or self study or a computer lab.
A very collaborative tool/site. Just start the writeboard, give your students the password and together you can work on/add on documents. The teacher or other students can instantly correct others work and you'll be able to instantly see the different edits and corrections highlighted. A great way to stimulate writing skills/production.
Chat with this bot from EFL Classroom 2.0! He's our smartest and this is a great way for your students to creatively practice their English! Use in class to get the students motivated!
